BJP national president J P Nadda on Thursday met Arjuna awardee and international shooter Anjum Moudgil, entrepreneur Dr Sanjeev Juneja and the party workers during his visit to Chandigarh.

Nadda, in the city under Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan to mark the completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi government, engaged in a discussion with the enlightened citizens of the city throughout the day.

While meeting Arjuna awardee Moudgil, Nadda said that the BJP government has made a lot of changes in the sports policy of India in the last nine years and has strengthened the sports infrastructure in India so that the players can perform excellently at the international level.

The BJP president said that Anjum is a role model for junior players and she should inspire other players so that junior players also serve the country by reaching the international level and make India proud by winning medals in the Olympics.

In his series of meetings, Nadda also visited Dr Sanjeev Juneja, Chandigarh’s young first-generation entrepreneur and owner of Dr Ortho brand, and his family members at his residence.

While congratulating him on his successful startup, Nadda asked him to motivate more youth of the country to go for self-employment.

After that, Nadda met BJP’s district mandal workers over tiffin meeting and discussed the composition of the organisation in the mandal, strength and how much benefits general public got from the works done by the Modi government in nine years.

The national president had lunch with mandal karyakartas.

Nadda told the party workers to tell city residents about all schemes of the government. He also asked them to strengthen organisational structure at the ground level.
